Lloyd “LA” Anderson II
"My first “high end” bass was my A6 Cort and I’ve wanted nothing but Bartolini pickups in my basses ever since! The tone is unmatched and it’s been over 10+ years that I’ve been consistently playing Barts ONLY! I recently had a signature custom bass made and I made sure I had 3 Bartolini pickups in it!"

Lloyd Anderson II is a professional Bassist, Composer and Producer, best known as the full time touring Bassist for Legendary R&B group Boyz II Men. “LA” comes from a musical family, starting on drums at age 1 and given further instruction by his mother who can play several instruments and his father an organist and pianist. He mastered the “Pocket” and continued on drums until the age of 18 when he decided to pick up the bass. He’ll tell you that it wasn’t easy and quit twice but never realized how his love for the instrument was growing. Originally self taught he continued his study of the Bass and relocated to Las Vegas in 2018, where he has continued to write, record and perform his own original music while touring with Artists and groups such as Martha Wash, WuTang Clan, B. Slade and with Boyz II Men since 2024.
