Jason Hale
""I went on a big Freddie Washington kick and realized the pickups
I’d been using since 2005 had a midrange that felt a little too aggressive.
I started dialing back the mids just a touch — then discovered that Freddie
uses the Bartolini 8S pickup in his P-Bass. Naturally, I had to try it for
myself.
The result was exactly what I’d been searching for: clear articulation with
a full, lively tone and that slightly scooped midrange I love. I’m so
thankful to Bartolini for making the best pickups I’ve ever used.""
