He, like so many of you, started with guitar – playing with small bands up until he was in his 20’s. He bought a bass from Ebay on a whim. He absolutely fell in love with the instrument and realized the bass was 100% the instrument for him. Throughout his 20s he began studying the instrument in earnest. Now in his mid-30s, he is still learning and loving every moment on the instrument. He only uses a guitar now for song writing ideas.
James has been playing bass for 10+ years and, and states
He enjoys and plays music from all genres but metal core is his jam. When James’ isn’t touring or in the studio recording, he somehow finds time to regularly record small Instagram reels to inspire and entertain everyone in the bass community so be sure to follow. He used Bandlab as a DAW and his Darkglass ADAM for his interface and overall tone. Welcome James!
