Binoy V S hailing from Kerala ,India with a music career spanning more than two decades, started as a vocalist and went on to transpose his skills to take upon the electric bass in 2008 performing as a live and session artist for numerous bands handling different genres of music including jazz, blues, classic rock, funk etc to name a few.He has also associated with many Indian composers as a session bass player for jingles and background scores.An audiographer and music teacher by profession he is also the founder of ‘The Bass Clef:School of Guitar’ a conservatory exclusively for training guitar and bass in his hometown. He is a trained Carnatic vocalist and a graded student in classical guitar from London College of Music who is capable of recording and mixing using multiple Digital audio workstations. An active content creator in Instagram, he is known for digging up and covering unique basslines in different genres of music with his series labelled ‘Unsung Basslines ‘. With multiple bass guitars in his arsenal, he has been a proud user of 3 Cort basses with Bartolini Mk1 Pickups since 2020. Mr. Binoy uses Protools, Logic, Reaper and Cubase to record his sessions.
